Friends, fans & lovers of the game, lend me your eyes; I come to bury Cricket, not to praise her beauty. The evil that men do lives after them so let it be with Cricket.
The nobility of the cricket governing bodies find their ambitions bigger than that of the game they govern. They say they weren’t aware of the mess of the eggs & the hen rotting & hence for the fault of enthusiasts they aren’t to be blamed as they are honorable men.
There have been questions raised on the conscience of some, their morality but such questions shouldn’t be raised on their honor as even 20 consciences cannot stop them from preserving their crown & as they being honorable men are the only ones who can govern this game.
Cricket never promised her players riches & wealth, what it promised was a career where one would serve his country as Cricket is battle & service & sport & art. Today few players have mocked & joked not only the name of the game but also her soul. These men fixed spots on her 22 yard body & kept stabbing her relentlessly for the lust of money & many vouch for them as they too are honorable men.
Cricket made many a men legends their names immortal, their heroics spoken at lengths, re-wrote the books of their bravery, gave them the status of being demi-gods but today they sit silent & watch cricket die, their silence too stabs her soul which hurts even more as she expected them to be at her side in her darkest hour, but they are our heroes, our icons & being men of such esteem honor they should entertain their honorable contracts to play this game.
You may say that we have a savior in the form of the Media, who will not let cricket die but I am sorry for those are men who only use the name of Cricket to spin stories in order to raise a TRP. Once a story of higher promise arrives, they will move on. You can’t blame them either as their job is reporting to ask questions on stories which make the headlines & even they say/shout the want of being our messiah to seek justice they never do. They too are honorable men.
I do know many of you have started to lose faith on beauty of cricket, started to stop believing that cricket is Synonym for life, but today I ask you a question when the preachers, prophets or oracles mislead you do you lose your faith & belief in the religion you follow? Do you start doubting the faith which has given you unconditional strength & guided you to face difficult situations?
I hear the answer of NO! Then even now you shouldn’t let your faith in your religion of Cricket falter.
All these years you have supported her overcome the bruises of every stab on her body but today she needs you to preserve & protect her soul…
Always keep reinstating the belief in you, the belief you have echoed all these years

For me ,silence of ‘legends’ was a bigger scandal than the fixing one ,n the latest punch came all the way from Dhoni who said Indian cricket repo not affected from this scandal,god knows which world he is living in .
And i don’t agree with your god n faith link of this scandal… Atleast i can never see cricket from same enthusiasm,respect n faith like i did earlier.

Its Sad, Isn’t it, to see the game we all love suffer due to the greed of a few tainted souls. But then, all we could hope that something good comes out of all this, after all even the darkest of the clouds have silver linings.
